Global Stories: Beyond Borders

As part of Universitas Airlangga’s global visibility and internationalisation efforts, all UNAIR academia currently participating in outbound mobility programmes are encouraged to document their academic activities and intercultural experiences abroad. These submissions contribute to showcasing UNAIR’s presence, engagement, and achievements on the global stage. The work may be featured on Airlangga Global Engagement (AGE) official social media platform.

General Requirements

Participants must include a call to action encouraging viewers to follow @globalunair on Instagram and stay updated on international opportunities through the Global UNAIR website.
Participants may submit their Global Stories in the form of a News Article or an Instagram Take Over, and all submissions must comply with the established content guidelines.
Participants must follow @globalunair on Instagram and repost their Global Stories to their personal Instagram accounts.

Do's and Dont's

Participant Must:

Prioritize using English and minimum usage of Bahasa Indonesia.
Introduce yourself clearly
Show daily life and real experiences
Keep it relevant to the guidelines
Use clear and appropriate language
Maintain UNAIR’s Good Image
Prioritize safety

Participant Must Not:

Post personal or sensitive content
Discuss politics, religion or controversial topics
Show alcohol, smoking, nightlife or inappropriate behavior
Promote personal brands or products
Use music or images you don’t have rights to
Provide low-quality or blurry photo or video
Post content about others without permission
Share anything that violates host country or host university rules

Participants may submit their footage in portrait videos for Instagram Story Takeover on @globalunair.

Take Over Procedure

Registration and Approval:

Academia fills out the Global Stories Registration Form
AGE Team reviews the submission and checks eligibility
Approved participants receive confirmation and brief

Pre Take Over Preparation:
Participants, will:

Provide photos for promotional poster
Prepare and record content (videos + photos)

AGE, will:

Make promotional poster
Provide Q&A questions box

Promotional Phase:
Participants, will:

Repost the promotional poster to their instagram
Prepare content to answer the questions asked by the audience

AGE, will:

Upload promotional post announcing the academia and the upcoming takeover date
Posts the Q&A Question Box, inviting audience questions for the participant

Content Submission:
(H-1 Take Over Day)

Participant must submit:

All takeover videos (segmented and ready to upload)
Photos (optional but recommended)
Answers to selected Q&A questions (in video format)

Take Over Day:
AGE Team will upload contents based on the structure.
Participants must repost the take over story to their personal instagram account.
