Universitas Airlangga (UNAIR) is dedicated to fostering a productive and rewarding academic environment in the city of Surabaya. Through the Adjunct Professor Program, UNAIR invites distinguished academics from around the world to engage in academic and/or research collaborations with our leading professors and researchers. This program is supported by the Ministry of Higher Education, Sains and Technology (Kemdiktisaintek) and the Indonesia Endowment Fund for Education (LPDP) under the EQUITY WCU funding scheme.

Program Output

One (1) article under review in a top tier journal-specifically one ranked in the top 10% by sub-subject area in a Scopus-indexed international scientific journal.

Program Timeline

• Registration : 1 July 2026 – 30 September 2026
• Activity Period: 1 September 2026 – 30 Juni 2027

Eligibility Criteria

1. The applicant is a professor/associate professor/assistant professor/senior lecturer/lecturer in international university (non-indonesian citizenship)
2. The applicant must have a Scopus h-index of ≥ 50 for Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics and ≥ 25 for Social Sciences & Management, Arts, Humanities; or editor of top-tier journal; or fellow organization profession; or member national academy.
3. Willing to stay fourteen (14) days at UNAIR.

Program Benefits

1. A honorarium + research funds: IDR 350,000,000 (subject to 20% tax)
2. The program will cover a round-trip fare with a maximum amount of IDR 40,000,000
3. Accommodation with a maximum reimbursement of IDR 18,200,000 for a maximum stay of 14 (fourteen) days

Responsibilities

1. Commit to producing one (1) article under review in a top tier journal-specifically one ranked in the top 10% by sub-subject area in a Scopus-indexed international scientific journal.
2. Include Universitas Airlangga as a second affiliation in the resulting publication.
3. Initiate or strengthen research collaboration with UNAIR researchers.
4. Provide support in the form of editorial, review, or authorship contributions for the development of UNAIR journals.
5. Contribute to enhancing UNAIR’s global reputation and position in the international university rankings.
