ASCEND 2026 is a strategic initiative designed to strengthen cross-faculty collaboration at Universitas Airlangga in support of its internationalization agenda. The program encourages lecturers and students to develop innovative and impactful collaborative activities in partnership with International Corners at UNAIR. Through sustainable and well-structured initiatives, ASCEND aims to enhance global partnerships, strengthen academic capacity, and increase the university’s international visibility and long-term network development.

Programs / Scope of Activities
ASCEND supports a variety of collaborative activities, including:

1. Guest Lectures & Thematic Seminars
   Organizing academic sessions with international perspectives and speakers.
2. Student Mobility & International Exposure Support
   Facilitating programs that enhance students’ global engagement and experience.
3. Capacity Building Programs
   Workshops and knowledge-sharing sessions for lecturers and educational staff.
4. Cultural Promotion & Educational Diplomacy
   Activities promoting cross-cultural understanding and international relations.
5. Community Service Programs
   Engagement initiatives that contribute to society while integrating global perspectives.

Requirements

• One team consists of 1 lecturer and 4 students
• Proposal must involve collaboration with an International Corner at UNAIR
• Complete required documents:

Funding & Incentives

• Grant: IDR 10,000,000 per selected proposal (excluding tax)
• Total Selected Proposals: 11 teams
• Funding can be used for:
  1. Speaker honorarium
  2. Event logistics (refreshments, equipment)
  3. Publication & promotion
  4. Documentation and reporting
• 1. Operational and technical costs
