Visiting Professor – Ministry Funding

An international program that invites international academics from foreign universities to come to the Universitas Airlangga for a short period with the aim of delivering guest lectures, conducting scientific writing in the form of seminars/training/workshops related to their field of expertise, and/or engaging in strategic meetings with the faculty member to strengthen staff mobility at the study center/research center/faculty. This program is supported by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology (Kemendikbudristek) and the Indonesia Endowment Fund for Education (LPDP) under the EQUITY WCU funding scheme.

  1. An active professor/associate professor/assistant professor/senior lecturer/lecturer (Non-Indonesian Citizenship) with a Scopus h-index of ≥ 50 for Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics and ≥ 25 for Social Sciences & Management, Arts, Humanities; or editor of top-tier journal; or fellow organization profession; or member national academy.
  2. Willing to give a lecture at least one (1) lecture.
  3. Willing to hold at least one (1) research workshop.
  4. Willing to have research collaboration with UNAIR.
  5. Willing to stay fourteen (14) days at UNAIR.
  6. Willing to provide themselves health insurance during the program in Indonesia.
  7. Participating in other relevant activities according to the agreement between academics and the host faculty at UNAIR.
  8. Willing to submit a letter of recommendation from UNAIR’s faculty and passport.
  1. A honorarium + research funds: IDR 75,000,000 (subject to 20% tax)
  2. The program will cover a round-trip fare with a maximum amount of IDR 40,000,000
  3. Accommodation with a maximum reimbursement of IDR 18,200,000 for a maximum stay of 14 (fourteen) days.
