Responsibilities

  • Sub-Directorate of Global Partnership:

    • International and Domestic Partnership division:
      • Initiating, fostering, and expanding international collaborations while ensuring their sustainability;
      • Establishing partnerships with government institutions, state-owned enterprises, private sector entities, and national organizations to support internationalization efforts;
      • Developing and managing Global Hubs as centers for promotion, networking, and engagement with international partners;
      • Implementing global promotion and communication strategies through media platforms, events, and international publications; and
      • Handling cooperation agreements (MoUs, MoAs, and IAs) as well as managing Universitas Airlangga’s memberships in global consortia.
  • Sub-Directorate of Global Reputation and International Mobility:

    • Global Reputation Division:

      • Enhancing the university’s global reputation through publications, networking, branding initiatives, and strategic collaborations;
      • Managing international university rankings (including THE WUR, QS, ARWU, and others) through data collection, score improvement strategies, and performance monitoring;
      • Developing internationalization databases and dashboards to monitor global performance and support institutional policy-making;
      • Providing welfare services for international students and staff, including accommodation, health services, and cultural adaptation support;
      • Providing immigration services for international students and staff;
      • Initiating international mobility grants for students, faculty members, and administrative staff;
    • International Mobility Division:

      • Organizing international mobility programs for students, faculty members, and staff (outbound and inbound), inclouding administrative facilitation before departure and upon return;
      • Developing international degree programs (joint degree, double degree, and twinning programs) with globally benchmarked curricula;
      • Managing scholarship programs for international students funded by external sources;
      • Managing staff mobility programs through scholarships, training, short courses, as well as monitoring and evaluating their sustainability;
