Greetings to you all, my name is Natalie Panashe Msipa from Zimbabwe and I am a TIAS awarde in 2024. I am sincerely grateful to have the TIAS scholarship to study at one of the best universities in Indonesia at Universitas Airlangga, for a bachelor in pharmacy degree program. The TIAS scholarship covers all my full tuition which allows me to focus fully on my academic goals without financial pressure. The TIAS scholarship also provides support for living expenses which provides stability and enables me to engage fully in my studies and campus life. The inclusion of cultural events is meaningful to me because it promotes diversity, understanding, and personal growth. I enjoy participating in these events since they ignite and broaden my global perspective. I am drawn to the volunteering opportunities that TIAS offers, as serving others is a core value I hold. Volunteering allows me to give back to the community while developing leadership and empathy. The TIAS scholarship empowers me to pursue excellence with confidence and purpose. I am committed to making the most of every opportunity provided through this program. In return, I aim to represent the scholarship with integrity and create positive, lasting impact.

Hello, I am Aicha from Vanuatu, the TIAS Awardee in 2025. I chose Accountancy as my study program at universitas Airlangga. The Indonesian Aid Scholarship (TIAS) has been a life-changing opportunity and a defining milestone in the students’ academic and professional journeys. TIAS is incredibly generous, covering tuition fees, international flights, health insurance, accommodation, settlement allowance, learning support, BIPA (Indonesian language program), and a monthly living allowance.
This scholarship is not just financial assistance; it is a strong vote of confidence from the Indonesian Government to empower students to pursue higher education in Indonesia without the burden of financial stress. This allows students to fully focus on their studies without worrying about daily expenses.
Universitas Airlangga (UNAIR) is currently ranked 2nd among top Indonesian universities according to the QS World University Rankings. Choosing UNAIR is one of the best decisions a student can make, as it is among the top universities in Indonesia. You can truly feel the quality of education and environment across its three beautiful campuses.
At UNAIR, students experience life in the vibrant city of Surabaya, surrounded by friendly and welcoming people. Students learn a new language, meet amazing individuals from around the world, and study at a highly ranked university. The professors are experts in their fields and are also very approachable and supportive of international students. The facilities such as laboratories, libraries, and the digital museum are modern and make learning more effective and enjoyable.
Beyond academics, the atmosphere at UNAIR is warm and inclusive. The Airlangga Global Engagement (AGE) team provides outstanding support from the moment students arrive, helping them feel at home in Surabaya. Whether through research opportunities or student activities, UNAIR offers everything needed for personal, academic, and professional growth.
I am truly proud to be part of the Universitas Airlangga community.

I am Usman Abba from nigeria. I am TIAS Awardee 2025 and I study in Management at Universitas Airlangga. Being part of the TIAS scholarship at Universitas Airlangga has been one of the most meaningful experiences of my life. Over the past 1 year and 5 months, I have grown not only academically but also personally. From the beginning, I felt welcomed into a supportive and diverse community that made adapting much easier. I am deeply grateful for the financial support, which allowed me to focus on my studies without constant pressure or worry.
Throughout this journey, I have met inspiring lecturers and friends who have broadened my perspective and encouraged me to keep improving. Studying at UNAIR has also helped me become more independent, disciplined, and confident in myself. The opportunities I received through TIAS are things I once only hoped for. Even the challenges I faced became valuable lessons that strengthened my character.
I feel proud and honored to be part of the TIAS community, and I truly appreciate everyone who made this opportunity possible. This experience has brought me fulfillment and gratitude that I will carry with me into the future.
