AGE NEWS – As part of Airlangga Global Engagement’s initiatives, the tailor-made program provides a chance to design a customized study abroad experience in Indonesia tailored to specific needs and interests. This program can be tailored to specific content themes and include language immersion. Partner universities can opt for programs ranging from one week to one month or longer, all conducted at Universitas Airlangga. Our goal is to develop programs that cater to specific requirements for distinct subjects, regions, and audiences.
During this period, we had the chance to partner with Griffith University to advance our objectives through this program. Coordinating this initiative with the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, we aim to incorporate two main activities into the Tailor-Made Program implementation. These include indoor classroom sessions focused on understanding the cultural politics of the Indo-Pacific region and outdoor activities aimed at exploring the culture of Java, particularly in Surabaya, Malang, and Yogyakarta. Moreover, we forge a collaborative partnership with UNAIR Mengajar, integrating our efforts into the community development subprogram. As part of this initiative, we actively participate in various activities aimed at fostering sustainable development, including engaging in mangrove planting endeavors.
