Internship Grant Opportunity for International Graduate Students Offered by the Faculty of Science, Prince of Songkla University

The Faculty of Science of Prince of Songkla University is pleased to announce the Research Internship Program for the year 2025/26 to promote and boost research on graduate level, and to enhance prosperous international collaborations between the Faculty of Science, Prince of Songkla University and institutes abroad. This opportunity is open to students from higher education institutes in the field of natural and applied sciences. Please find details and conditions below.

Requirements:

• The applicant must hold a Bachelor’s degree or above.
• The applicant must be a current graduate student enrolled at an overseas institution and maintain active student status throughout the intended internship period (UNAIR students is eligible).
• The applicant is free of infectious diseases, and their mental and physical health are conducive to actively participating in research activities.

Internship Grant Support:

• The stipend serves as a support for the living expenses and includes a bench fee waiver. The stipend counts a total amount of 6,000 THB (about 180 USD) per applicant per month with the length according to the research plan of 4-6 months. The stakeholder is responsible for additional costs such as accommodation.
• Up to 18 stipends can be granted.

How to Apply:

• A total of 18 placements are available across the fields of Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Geophysics, Statistics, Physiology, Physics, and Polymer Science and Technology.
• Complete the Application Form (scan via QR code) and upload the following documents:
  • Curriculum Vitae (CV);
  • Motivation letter stating your skills, software knowledge, and research focus during the internship, signed by home advisor;
  • Main passport page;
  • Study record (Transcript); and
  • Additional files if requested.

Note: All uploaded documents must be complete and issued in English language or bilingual with English, otherwise your application will be disregarded.

• Before 18 February 2025: Apply via the application
• 3-13 March 2025: Online interviews
• 2 April 2025: Announcement of scholars approved by the Faculty
• Before 17 April 2025: Confirmation from nominee
• June 2025 to 30 September 2026: Timeframe for internship grant
