Starting on 2016, the university has fostered student mobility programs with various EU universities, with the Netherlands, France, and Germany emerging as the most sought-after destinations.

In this meeting, Universitas Airlangga showcased a myriad of potential cooperation avenues tailored to suit the mutual interests and requirements of both institutions. Among the array of partnership options presented, the staff exchange program stood out as particularly strategic from the university’s standpoint.

Moreover, discussions centered on the establishment of the European Union Corner at Universitas Airlangga, aiming to serve as a centralized hub for information dissemination and collaboration between UNAIR and the EU. Following the deliberations, delegations was given a comprehensive tour of other international centers at Universitas Airlangga, alongside a proposed site visit for the EU office.

This meeting marks a significant milestone in the journey towards fostering deeper collaboration between Universitas Airlangga and the European Union, opening avenues for enhanced academic and research partnerships in the future.
